Business Challenges

Business Front

  • Premier support for XE & A7.3 was no longer available from Dec 2013 and extended support was also not available
  • PACCAR Australia was in Co-existence and they needed to migrate to a common platform
  • Product costing reports were taking considerable time in XE
  • PACCAR Australia makes extensive use of the Configurator and had reached the limits of this tool in XE
  • Their current business data was not Unicode, hence there was a need to move to Unicode
