According to a report by Weforum, India is home to a fifth of the world's youth. Half of its population of 1.3 billion is below the age of 25, and a quarter is below the age of 14, making the young population a valuable resource for the country's development. And, this will only be possible when we have well nurtured and educated children with full opportunities for growth in an all-encompassing and secure environment which means ensuring their development, providing them care and protection through programmes. It is also important to make a child aware about his/her rights and facilitate learning, extending institutional and infrastructural support for enabling them to grow and develop to their full potential.
We at Birlasoft are working towards achieving the same through our Project Disha
Project Disha emphasizes on school and overall child development. We are also providing scholarship to the students to pursue further studies, teacher's training on soft skills and Digital literacy to enhance quality of education.
Project focus on inducing behavior change through communication, and creating change agents for the mass awareness. We are working with government school students thereby supporting them through co-scholastic development and scholarship program which makes them confident and self-reliant, also encourages them to reach their goals and have bright future.
