Ravi has over 20 years of experience in helping enterprise customers leverage the combination of Operational and Information Technology to bring efficiencies to their business processes. Strong background with Industry 4.0 technologies and understanding of manufacturing processes in the oil and gas and life sciences business domains. Ravi specializes in helping organizations build cohesive and seamless IT systems leveraging their investments in application systems, both on premise and in the cloud. He also has a strong understanding of the IIoT applications, specializing in prototyping solutions to improve shop floor productivity. He carries a large volume of experience with ERP and integration technologies and has worked all over the globe helping ERP customers adopt modern integration technologies.
Speaker Details: Pieter J Els is Director, Cloud Applications Development at Oracle Corporation. Pieter’s prime responsibility is to drive customer success through deployment of Oracle Cloud Applications in Asia Pacific (APAC) & and Japan. In this role, Pieter plays a crucial link between customers, partners, the Oracle account managers and Oracle development and assists in the development and execution strategy of new application releases in the market. As part of Oracle Applications Development, Pieter is responsible for Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud. He is responsible for providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise around Oracle Cloud Applications services to ensure successful adoption by customers.
Pieter has over 26 years of industry experience, which includes 21 years in Oracle Applications, 16 of which he worked for Oracle Corporation. Pieter holds a Mechanical Engineering degree, did his post-graduate Master in Industrial Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand and is passionate about science and technology.
