As part of our #BeatCOVID initiative, we planned and executed the #IGotVaccinated vaccination drive across our offices in India.
The vaccination drive aimed at getting normal life back on track and securing the health of our employees and their dependents. It was conducted with strict adherence to all the health and safety protocols while ensuring covid appropriate behaviour.

Birlasoft has formed a COVID-19 Leadership Taskforce that meets regularly every single day, to assess the current situation. We have established a WAR room for project teams to easily reach us and use the latest information to answer questions that arise from employees, customers and suppliers to ensure we have the best response and that we all stay connected. We are following the guidelines and preventive measures being advised by the World Health Organization and the Indian Government and adhering to advisories by governments and public health authorities in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific where we operate.
We have instituted many actions to reduce the chance of potential virus transmission, including extensive use of collaboration capabilities for all of us to communicate effectively. The number of secured encrypted laptops, peripherals and internet bandwidth are being increased to ensure secure connectivity to clients and we have a much larger group of employees now successfully working remotely. Birlasoft has an appropriate Business Continuity Plan in place, and we will continue to fight the virus as a community and work towards putting an end to it at the earliest.
With COVID-19 becoming an all-consuming global crisis, Birlasoft has pledged to support the community during this unseen calamity and the lockdown period mandated by Indian Government across borders. A major impact has been afflicted on the lives of daily wage earners, whose count runs into the millions. Birlasoft employees, along with ‘Under The Tree’ (a Noida-based NGO, running an Education and Nutrition Program for underprivileged children and their families) have joined forces to distribute food and hygiene kits to 1000+ daily wage earners in Noida, (India).
Along with The CK Birla Group, Birlasoft has aided the Indian Government’s COVID-19 disaster management efforts by making a financial contribution to the PM CARES Fund and to medical institutions for essentials PPE supplies. We are also encouraging our employees to come forward and lend monetary support to this humanitarian cause. We believe each effort counts; every helping hand will heal this dystopian world to create a better future.
