Successfully Provided SEC with Cloud-Based Solutions for HR to Streamline Performance and Goal Management, Recruitment Management and Learning
Folsom, California, 17 June 2015 : KPIT Technologies (BSE: 532400; NSE: KPIT), a fast-growing product engineering, IT consulting solutions and services provider to automotive and transportation, manufacturing, and energy and utilities corporations, today announced the deployment of the company's largest implementation project with SuccessFactors, an SAP company, at the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). KPIT provided SEC with the cloud-based SuccessFactors® Performance & Goals, SuccessFactors Recruiting Management and SuccessFactors Learning solutions, to streamline its performance and goal management, recruitment management and learning functions. With over 35,000 employees and more than 270,000 dependents, SEC required KPIT to develop groundbreaking integrations, as well as activate its mobile platform to help managers and executives view their own and direct-reports' data from any location, at any time.
As a part of the deployment to help SEC support the Accelerated Strategic Transformation Program ("ASTP") and People Excellence foundation, KPIT effectively loaded in excess of 37,000 unique records, and more than 8,000 learning courses, over 10 years of learning history, and gave over 270,000 SEC family members and employees access to enroll in the courses. KPIT also created more than 10 requisitions for recruiting needs and multiple templates for performance and goal management for all types of employees. As the SuccessFactors Learning solution was not yet supported for the Arabic language at the time of launch, KPIT also installed an "Arabic type" language pack for the convenience of employees.

Through this project, KPIT provided SEC with integrations to the company's SAP system, integrations to third-party providers to validate national IDs, retrieve health-check clearance and background-check results, etc. The integrations to the SAP on-premise system validated data against the existing SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution to support the integrity of the data between the two systems. Additionally, KPIT translated over 200 pages of documentation and 30,000 lines of data from English to Arabic and trained over 300 trainers and managers in a very comprehensive train-the-trainer program.
