May 6, 2014, Pune, INDIA:- KPIT (BSE: 532400; NSE: KPIT), a global product engineering and IT consulting partner to automotive & transportation, manufacturing and energy & utility companies, has appointed Baljeet Chhazal as Senior Vice President and Global Head of its Oracle Business Unit. Baljeet brings nearly 20 years of IT and industry experience to this role, and is responsible for growth and expansion of KPIT’s Oracle business, with focus on large client relationships, furthering KPIT’s strategic partnership with Oracle, and building world class delivery competencies across all geographies.

Baljeet most recently served as the Head of Oracle business for Infosys’ Manufacturing unit in Americas where he was instrumental in driving large business transformation programs across global clients in Manufacturing, Retail and Life Sciences verticals. Baljeet specializes in supply chain management, large scale program management and ERP implementations, and has helped several clients develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to maximize IT investments.

Baljeet holds a masters in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a degree in Mathematics honors from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He lives in the San Francisco bay area.
