Customer is a US-based direct-to-consumer startup in the custom framing industry offering online and mail-in art framing services
Business Challenges
The customer’s existing AWS workloads did not align with recommended architectural and operational best practices. The environment lacked structured FinOps processes, resulting in inefficient cost management and limited visibility into cloud spending. Additionally, the customer required a reliable partner to migrate remaining on‑premises workloads to AWS, remediate identified security vulnerabilities, and strengthen governance, monitoring, and compliance across their cloud operations.
The Solution
Birlasoft modernized the customer’s cloud environment using our X Start framework to assess the cloud maturity, define the target AWS architecture, and align with AWS Well‑Architected best practices. A secure AWS Landing Zone was established using XaC, embedding governance, security, and observability by design.
Select workloads were migrated using the iMigrate framework, while a FinOps model powered by our Sigma platform provided cost visibility and optimization. Centralized monitoring and automated remediation improved security and operational resilience.
