Business Challenges
The business needed to migrate workloads to a U.S. tenant while maintaining GDPR compliance for sensitive EU data. Cloud governance and security policies were not standardized, and the operating model did not scale across sites. On‑premises IT spanned multiple locations and required centralized monitoring, patching, incident handling, and vendor consolidation. A partner was required to deliver an end‑to‑end migration and establish ongoing hybrid operations (on‑premises + cloud).
Birlasoft Solution
Cloud Migration: Designed and deployed a secure, scalable Azure Landing Zone aligned to GDPR and U.S. compliance needs, with governance policies, role‑based access control, network segmentation, and monitoring. Assessed colocation workloads and network and executed the migration to the U.S. tenant with minimal downtime and post‑cutover validation. Leveraged the Birlasoft iMigrate framework for a structured approach—automated workload discovery and dependency mapping, defined migration waves, applied GDPR‑compliant security controls and data‑residency policies, and completed cutover within the defined timeframe.
Hybrid Cloud Operations: Providing managed services across on‑premises and cloud resources, including 24×7 monitoring, incident response, patching, backup, compliance reporting, and cost optimization. Delivering network operations for SD‑WAN, switches, routers, VPN, and firewalls across all sites and cloud. Adopted the Birlasoft BAssure Operations Model with SLA‑driven operations and unified dashboards for visibility and continuous optimization.
