Our customer is one of the largest producers of aggregate products (crushed stone, sand, and gravel) in the USA for the construction industry. They operate over 300 quarries in 28 states and in Canada, the Bahamas and Caribbean Islands.

The customer partnered with us to successfully complete their upgrade from ERP 8 to EnterpriseOne 9.1 along with integrations to ancillary business systems.

Birlasoft adopted a phased delivery approach which included Pre-Upgrade, Upgrade, and Post Go Live Support.

We were the primary systems integrator providing upgrade planning, functional consulting, technical and CNC consulting, project management, stress testing, Oracle Database Administration, and readiness assessment services.

This was a very complex project and Birlasoft ensured that the customer achieved all their following goals:

  • Ensured cost reduction through JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Transportation Management which enabled the customer to determine the lowest-cost mode of transportation and find, arrange, and track the lowest-cost, best-performing carrier.
